Hana Like Kakou Benefit Dinner A Success!

On May 20, 2011, U.S. VETS- Waianae held its 2^nd Annual “Hana Like Kakou” benefit dinner for homeless veterans and local individuals and families with children.  Nearly 200 supporters enjoyed an authentic luau dinner, strolling musicians, and an inspiring keynote speech by former POW, Capt. Gerald “Jerry” Coffee, USN Retired.  The evening also featured live music by the Royal Hawaiian Band, a procession of the Royal Order of Kamehameha 1, a silent auction, local comedian Frank DeLima, and an awe-inspiring fire knife dancer as the grand finale!
