U.S.VETS–Los Angeles hosted a Memorial Luncheon in Honor of U.S.VETS former President, Dwight Radcliff on August 6th, marking the one-year anniversary of his death. Staff and residents joined with the Radcliff family, friends and community representatives including Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Inglewood Mayor James Butts Jr., State Senator Roderick Wright, Councilman Ralph Franklin, Councilman Michael Stevens and Assemblyman Steven Bradford in celebrating Radcliff’s accomplishments and contributions to U.S. VETS and the cause of serving veterans in our community and throughout the country.

Congresswoman Maxine Waters presented Site Director Ivan Mason with a Certificate of Special Recognition for U.S. VETS in honor of the occasion.

U.S.VETS–Los Angeles dedicated the Veterans In Progress program floor in memory of Dwight Radcliff. Radcliff developed the VIP program for U.S.VETS and was the first director of it. The VIP program is at the core of U.S.VETS programs and has since been replicated across all 11 sites around the country.
