Arizona House Speaker Andy Tobin, R-Paulden, recently honored Barbara Mikkelsen, site director for U.S. Vets in Prescott, for excellence in leadership and service to all veterans and the community.
“She works tirelessly on fostering relations between U.S. Vets and government at all levels, provides housing, counseling and career development that allows veterans who have fallen on tough times to get back into society,” Tobin said.
