7th Annual U.S.VETS 5k Patriot Run/Walk
On November 19, 2011, USVI-Barbers Point held their 7th Annual 5k Patriot Run/Walk. There were approximately 400 attendees who gathered together at the scenic grounds of The Waterfront at Pu’uloa for this worthy cause. Mahalo to the Patriot Run/Walk committee, sponsors, James Campbell High School ROTC, Bands: 1772 and Bikini Knights, volunteers, and race participants for all of the hard work and enthusiasm into bringing funding and awareness to U.S.VETS. It is with passion that we continue to tackle ending homelessness among veterans.

Veterans at Patriot Run-Several Barbers Point veterans were eager to take part in this annual event. Daniel Wicks (2nd row, center) wearing #1838 was the first veteran to cross the finish line.

Darryl and USVI-BP Staff-It was a fun filled morning for the Barbers Point staff. Some family members also came out to join the festivities.

At the finish line-The 29th Infantry Brigade was a large contributor to this year’s Patriot Run/Walk.
