U.S.VETS-Waianae
Staff members from WCC and Barbers Point welcome Secretary Shinseki.
Waianae Civic Center is the only U.S.VETS location that provides services to both veteran and non-veteran men and women, families and children. WCC began serving the Hawaii homeless population in March of 2007. Waianae currently serves 300 men, women, and children each day.

Staff and WCC residents were thrilled to participate in this very special anniversary, which included music provided by The Royal Hawaiian Band, keynote speaker, VP Programs Darryl Vincent, as well as many wonderful performances by groups comprised of current and former facility residents.
On Saturday, October 22, 2011, approximately 50, C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc. (Hawaii), staff and family members volunteered at U.S.VETS Waianae for the third year.
