U.S. VETS - Phoenix has 81 beds available for homeless veterans
U.S.VETS - Phoenix, "Victory Place" provides the following services to 3500 homeless veterans in Maricopa County:
- Outreach and Assessment
- Residential and Non-Residential Employment Services
- Long-term, Service-enriched Transitional Housing
-Sobriety Support Groups
Services under development include:
- Permanent Housing for Disabled Veterans
- Residential Substance Abuse Treatment
In addition, U.S.VETS - Phoenix has been recognized as one of the outstanding model Homeless Veterans Reintegration Programs in the country by the U.S. Department of Labor! Partners include:
- Department VA Mental health Integrated Specialty Services and the Healthcare for Homeless Veterans Program
- Department of Housing and Urban Development
- Maricopa Association of Governments
- Department of Labor VETS
- Department of Economic Security DVOP/LVER program
- Central Aziona Shelter Services
- Phoenix Rescue Mission
- AZ Department of Veterans Affairs
