In the most positive way, I have a sense of community. I don’t feel like I’m trekking the whole load by myself. It’s peaceful and drama free. We are surrounded by nature and we are not treated like numbers. We have a staff that is genuinely compassionate. – TW
When I first came here, I felt alone, lost, defeated. And while I can’t tell you all of those feelings have disappeared, I can tell you that the staff and the friends I’ve made here have made fighting a lot more worth it. – JR
While with U.S.VETS, I was given the tools to help me fight my demons. They helped me maintain the sobriety that seemed so far out of my reach for so many years. Their model proved effective in helping me gain a life I never thought possible. It is a life of true inner peace and happiness and a life I cherish today. – RP
I am grateful for the staff, volunteers, and donors for providing me with shelter and support that has increased my quality of life. – MM
