Help a veteran’s wish come true this holiday season!
While the VA estimates that thousands of veterans will be spending Christmas on the streets of Las Vegas, hundreds of veterans are no longer homeless because they are living at U.S.VETS – Las Vegas. These veterans are reuniting with family, rejoining the workforce, regaining independence and rebuilding their lives.
This holiday season, you can help grant wishes of the veterans who call U.S.VETS – Las Vegas home. Below, are the personal stories and holiday wish lists written by U.S.VETS program participants, to include the veteran families of the organization’s new Supportive Services for Veteran Families program.
Granting a veteran’s wish is this easy:
- Choose a veteran from the drop down list below
- Complete your donor information (for organization purposes only, donor will be kept anonymous to the veteran)
- Bring the gift to U.S.VETS – Las Vegas, 525 E. Bonanza Road no later than December 18, 2012:
Gifts must be wrapped and labeled with the veteran’s name and ID number
Gifts will be distributed to veterans during their annual holiday party
For more information about the wish list project, or if you are an out-of-town donor with questions on how to deliver gifts, please contact Nichole Tripoli at ntripoli@usvetsinc.org.
