2017 Las Vegas Stand Down Outcomes
One Day Full of Impactful Veteran Services

On March 15, U.S.VETS – Las Vegas hosted the 14th annual Las Vegas Veterans Stand Down in partnership with community agencies, sponsors and volunteers. This year’s event took place in the 100,000 square foot Cashman Center and boasted 160 service provider agencies and over 500 volunteers.
Services provided to veterans included: a job fair, medical care, counseling, housing placement, showers, haircuts, and an array of other services. Veterans also received FREE food and clothing from the Stand Down store.

- 41 homeless veterans housed
- 15 prevented from homelessness
- 15 hired into jobs
