Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation Contribute $75,000 to Support ADVANCE Women’s Program in Hawaii

 In Barbers Point

On October 29, 2012, Gaileen Wong of the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation presented a $75,000 check to Darryl Vincent, U.S.VETS Chief Operating Officer. The funds received will help support the ADVANCE Women’s Program which is set to open this month in partnership with the YWCA. This is the first women veterans program in the state of Hawaii and the second program of its kind run by U.S.VETS , the first being at our Long Beach location.

The foundation found this to be a worthy program and was very eager to help it get off the ground. The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation has supported U.S.VETS-Hawaii programs in the past and the staff and veterans themselves want to thank them for their contribution that allows U.S.VETS to continue to serve our nation’s heroes!
