Members of 56th Equipment Maintenance Squadron with John Scott, Executive Director of U.S.VETS – Phoenix and Ed Welch, Veterans Services Assistant

On April 3, 2014 the 56th Equipment Maintenance Squadron, supported by the 56th Fighter Wing Chapel, held a clothing drive for U.S.VETS – Phoenix. They provided over 500 articles of clothing, including suits for Veterans looking for employment.  The clothing drive has been supported by the 56th Equipment Maintenance Squadron over the past 5 years. The Airmen took a tour of the Victory Place campus and spoke with several of the Veterans that benefited from the donations.

Special thanks to the 56th Equipment Maintenance Squadron for their gracious donations.  Read more about the event on the Luke Air Force Base website.
