Darryl Vincent, Chief Operating Officer for U.S.VETS, recently reached a milestone 10 years of service. U.S.VETS – Barber’s Point Executive Director, Dr. Kim Cook and U.S.VETS – Waianae Executive Director, Gladys Peraro successfully pulled off a surprise party for Darryl in January to celebrate a decade of achievement for one of our fearless leaders.
Family, friends, and staff – including a surprise visit by Darryl’s mentor, President & CEO Steve Peck – gathered in Waikiki to congratulate Darryl and thank him for his hard work. Over the last 10 years that Darryl has been a part of U.S.VETS, the organization has undergone some drastic changes. New sites have opened, new programs have been established – all with the singular goal of helping homeless veterans get off the street. Darryl’s leadership has made so much of U.S.VETS work possible.
Even though his work for U.S.VETS kept him busy, Darryl also found the time to pursue his graduate degree. His recent graduation was just one more reason to celebrate.
Congratulations on your success, Darryl! We are all so proud of you.
