Director of The Veteran Movement and U.S.VETS Honorary Advisory Council Member, Mr. Rick Hamada along with the partnership of Tony Dias of Veterans United Foundation and U.S.VETS Honorary Advisory Council Member hosted their 2016 “Past, Present and Future” Golf Tournament on Friday, September 23 at the Leilehua Golf Course. U.S.VETS – Baber’s Point staff members actively volunteered by serving Chili & Rice under a tent on hole 9 from morning to afternoon to serve the golfers and supporters of the charity event. A dinner banquet was hosted after the tournament, where our client, Mr. Dominic Balinbin shared his success story of how he is overcoming homelessness and financial struggles to all supporters. The successful event concluded with The Veterans Movement presenting checks to U.S.VETS, Fisher House, and JROTC in the amount of $20,000 each, totaling $60,000. U.S.VETS will be using the funds to support program operations, and The Veterans Movement committed to support our mission in the future.
U.S.VETS – Barber’s Point wants to extend their sincere appreciation to Honorary Advisory Council Member, Mr. Rick Hamada and Mr. Tony Dias for their ongoing support of our mission. Thank you to The Veterans Movement family for consistently supporting our programs!
