2016 Las Vegas Stand Down Success

The 13th Annual Las Vegas Stand Down was a great success! Held at the Cashman Center March 16-17, the Stand Down provided crucial services to local veterans in need, including housing placement, employment and education, homeless courts, pet supplies and legal assistance as well as VA enrollment, medical care, showers, haircuts, computer/email stations, and hot meals. Attendees were also able to “shop” at the Stand Down store for new clothing, nonperishable food items, backpacks, and more.

U.S.VETS – Las Vegas would like to thank all of our donors, sponsors, volunteers, and service providers who came together to help us put on this great event. We couldn’t have done it without you!

I was proud to help the homeless veterans and those veterans in need at the 13th annual event held in Las Vegas, I hope I can continue to provide help to those in need of America’s support for those who have served for our great nation.

Walter (Volunteer)

It was my first time for this event and I was honored to be part of it.

Ryan (Dental Assistant/Volunteer)

Our second year at the Stand-Down and our first as a sponsor! It’s great to be among the many medical, legal and community resource providers volunteering at this year’s Veterans Stand Down.
