Larry H. Miller Volunteers Spend Day of Service with U.S.VETS

On April 26, 2016, U.S.VETS – Phoenix hosted Larry H. Miller Dealerships for their annual Day of Service to pay tribute to its founder, Mr. Larry H. Miller. Over 30 volunteers from dealerships around the Valley came onsite to refresh some rooms, provide care packages along with a cookout and fellowship to the 134 veterans who call Grand Veterans Village home.

“We are grateful for this Day of Service,” says Michelle Jameson, Executive Director for U.S.VETS – Phoenix. “It helped to show our veterans that the community cares about them and that they take pride in serving those who have served us.”

The volunteers worked hard to complete $40,000 worth of remodeling on 4 veteran housing units onsite, but the time they spent with our veterans is priceless. “Larry H. Miller staff provided U.S.VETS and our homeless, disabled and low-income vets with a strong sense of community and caring.”

U.S.VETS would like to thank the team of Larry H. Miller for their hard work and dedication in support of local veterans.
