Help Hospitalized Veterans and Yavapai County Community Foundation brought the 5th annual Valentines for Vets performance was held at Yavapia Community College Performing Arts Center on February 13, 2014.  Veterans and veteran supporters of Yavapai County enjoyed a fabulous performance by the Chi-Lites and Gary Lewis and the Playboys. The concert played to over 400 attendees, including Mayor Marlin Kykendall and many other dignitaries.

One of the event sponsors, Soldier’s Wish, presented U.S.VETS – Prescott a $5,000.00 donation towards the expenses of the upcoming move into a new facility.  Annette Olson, Program Director, and 12 veterans from the VIP program at U.S.VETS – Prescott received wild applause from the sold-out crowd when they were invited onstage to accept the award.

It was an evening of fun for all!
