Many combat veterans of the Afghanistan and Iraq conflicts find it difficult to re-enter civilian life when they return home. VRP is a residential program designed to assist their transition to a self-sufficient lifestyle by helping them deal with the challenges of life after military service.

VRP is staffed by veterans, many with combat experience, who provide peer-to-peer support to the returnees, allowing them to experience the camaraderie of fellow combat vets in a safe, sober, therapeutic environment.

VRP offers returnees access to counseling for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), as well as education and training in job-building skills so they can return to full-time employment.
