Stoneridge Dental provides free dental services to U.S.VETS – Inland Empire veterans
On August 15th, Stoneridge Dental in Moreno Valley CA chose U.S.VETS – Inland Empire as the agency to receive free dental services in their annual “Smile Generation Serve Day”. Dr. Grace Chung, DDS and the Smile Generation staff volunteered for the day to provide services to 11 veterans. Services included x-rays, cleanings, fillings and extractions.
“Smile Generation Serve Day is a day for giving back to the community,” said Smile Generation Founder Stephen Thorne. “Having access to dental care is critical for a patient’s overall health. By opening up their practices to help those who may not otherwise have access to dental care, the dentists are confirming their commitment to their community members and their oral health.”
One veteran needed services beyond what they could provide that day. Seeing that the veteran was in great pain, the staff worked together to schedule an appointment with the oral surgeon who completed the treatment free of charge.
Thank you to Stoneridge Dental, and thanks to the Moreno County Fire Department for coming out to show your support.
